Scented Candle | Size: 8.8 oz
Burn Time: Approximately 60 Hours
Keep the candle away from windy or draughty areas. When lighting for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of vessel to prevent tunnelling. This will create an even burn for the duration of the candle's 'life' and extend the 'life' of your candle. Burn no more than 3 or 4 hours at a time and never burn a candle longer than the manufacturer recommends.
TRIM THE WICK
Most Wanted recommends trimming your wick before every lighting to no more than 6mm in length as this will help mushrooming and charring of the inside of the vessel.
If the candle is burning efficiently the flame will appear teardropped and upright and will not flicker. If the candle smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high, the candle is not burning properly and should be extinguished. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before re-lighting.
EXTINGUISHING A CANDLE
Most Wanted recommends extinguishing your candles with a snuffer. If you do not have a snuffer, you can carefully dip the wick into the melted wax and then straighten wick to prevent smoking. We do not recommed blowing the candle out as it can cause hot wax to splatter.
DON’T BURN ALL THE WAY DOWN
Do not continue to burn candles that have only 10mm or less of wax remaining, as it may overheat the glass vessel and cause it to crack or shatter.
STORING AND CLEANING YOUR CANDLES
Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place if they are not being used immediately. You can also cover a candle with a glass cloche when not in use.
Remove dust, debris and fingerprints from a candle by gently wiping the wax surface with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
Always keep candles in sight when in use and never leave a burning candle unattended. Be sure to extinguish candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep and make sure the wick is no longer glowing.
Never burn a candle on an uneven surface or near anything that can catch fire such as furniture, drapes, books, paper, flammable materials, etc.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets as the glass vessels can become hot to the touch.
